Description
I created a logo for a fictional electronics manufacturer. This was a passion project I did to practice my skills and speed. The goal was to design logo in the tech/industrial space that had a fun, fresh, approachable, friendly vibe.
Process
This logo was inspired by a sketch I made while thinking about how the computer mouse got its name—and how that name has stuck over time. I was intrigued by the connection between the physical mouse and its digital namesake, so I explored ways to visually blend the two. I liked how the sketch turned out and decided it was worth vectorizing into a combination logo mark that captures both meanings. I also demonstrated how the logo can work in monochrome and made two mockups in photoshop to show how it might look on real products.
Reflection
This project reminded me how design can bring together concept and curiosity in unexpected ways. It was a valuable exercise in creative thinking, and designing a minimalist modern logo.
