Sattva Medicine
Project Type: Logo Redesign
client: Real
role: Project Manager, Graphic designer
tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Description
This logo redesign project was for Sattva Medicine, a psychiatry practice run by an independent clinician. The client discovered my work through social media, where I share logo redesigns. After a brief conversation and initial analysis of his current logo, I prepared a formal proposal outlining the scope and cost of the redesign using DocuSign. Once approved, we began the collaboration to refresh his brand identity in a way that better reflected the professionalism and purpose of his business.
Process
The project began with a word-mapping exercise to generate brand-relevant ideas and themes, followed by visual research into similar and competitor logos. I created initial hand sketches and selected the strongest concept to develop into a vector-based logo. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to make decisions around concept direction, typography, and color scheme, ensuring we stayed aligned and minimized unnecessary revisions. In addition to the final logo—delivered in full color and monochrome versions (JPEG and PNG)—I also created a Photoshop mockup of how the new logo could appear on his website, helping the client visualize the brand in context.
Reflection
This project was a milestone in my freelance journey, not just creatively but professionally. It was my first time managing the full process from proposal to invoicing, which gave me a deeper appreciation for client communication and business structure. I learned the value of close collaboration and how it can streamline design iterations. Most importantly, I gained confidence in delivering not only a logo, but a full branding experience. The client’s positive feedback on both the outcome and the process affirmed my growth as both a designer and a service provider.
